Dilemma

Ali, I need your help to invite those you want to join the organizing team. This is not a simple invitation because it sets the stage for the entire initiative. What we have to do, without saying so too directly, is enact a studio experience with them.

This is as much a big experiment for me as it is foreign to you. Don’t worry, we are heading into the uncertainty together and I’m sure we’ll be able to figure it out.

Check out my formate for the CAD Studio Invitation I used as my invitation to Daniel. You can use that as a template or pure inspiration, whatever you choose.

Here are the important elements you need to incorporate:

πŸ™€
1. Make the common ground abundantly clear (meaning what bring us uniquely together) 2. Ask for specific help to solve a professional dilemma you are having 3. Make it evident to your reader, how by helping solve your professional dilemma, they will be helping themselves 4. Summarize by saying that the 1st Studio recording will be building the envisioned curriculum since by making an attempting at the Studio we set the first benchmark to improve upon should everyone decide to go forward together.

Note on #2 you may want to write the invitation on behalf of you and I. If you decided to do that you are welcome to articulate what you understand my professional dilemma to be

Here is a further summary of how I understand my professional dilemma, if that helps you:

  • Self conduct
    • Strengths
      • Looks for alternatives and diversity but recoils from routine
      • Some desire for visibility and comfortable in leadership positions with little confrontationalism
    • Weaknesses
      • Overcompensates for having low self esteem which can produce signifiant anxiety
  • Task focus
    • Strengths
      • Well organized but flexible.
      • Highly motivated and goal oriented. Intrinsically oriented but can be competitive.
    • Weaknesses
      • Struggles to accept short term losses. Can fight imaginary enemies because of being overly self centered.
      • Strong entrepreneurial spirit but may need to impose own structure over organization's in order to achieve personal goals.
  • Interpersonally
    • Strengths
      • Cooperates well with others and advocates on their behalf.
      • Relates to authority in mature and respectful manner.
      • Helpful towards others and generous.
    • Weaknesses
      • Overly sensitive and analytical.
      • Can be suspicious of others motives.
      • Somewhat disposed to leaning on others for help
